Finishing the Guest Bathroom

It took us almost a year but the guest bathroom is finally done!! We’ve painted cabinets and added a beadboard accent wall. And now - after lots of debate - we’ve added this beautiful wallpaper by Magnolia.

Wallpapering is no joke… it is absolutely not for the faint of heart. It took multiple weekends for me to finish this space, though I do think if I had picked a room with fewer corners it might have been easier. Because our walls were textured, I also had to skim-coat and sand the entire room (which was terrible FYI). You can watch that whole ridiculous saga over on Instagram.

We also swapped out the mirror for something a little more modern, as well as the towel rack and paper towel holder.

Overall we are SO happy with the final result. The wallpaper, green paint, and brass details all came together in a stunning way. Click here to see videos of the entire bathroom because let me tell ya - pictures just don’t do it justice!
